We name most of our yarns in Spanish (our native language here in Uruguay), often using terms that refer to their thickness. Examples include Finito, Mechita, Mecha, and Rasta.
Rasta in Spanish means “dreadlock” and is also used to describe a very thick cord, much like this yarn. It is a lightly-fulled, single-ply yarn of magnum proportions!
This super-sized delight allows you to create a super-cozy accessory in just hours. Made from our premium Uruguayan merino, it is just as soft as ever and comes in a range of unique “watercolor multi” colorways, as well as a rainbow of semi-solid basics.
Unbelievably squishy, Rasta is the yarn to choose for the ultimate in warmth—or the ultimate in speed!
