Lifeline Mitts Class

Refine your knitting skills with multi-gauge fingerless mitts and mittens.

Learn to make fingerless mitts (or mittens) with a curved thumb gusset that fits beautifully. This pattern lets you choose all the details, including the weight of yarn to use.  You can use 100 grams of any yarn you love between fingering and aran weight.

These mitts make lovely holiday gifts.

Necessary Skills you already need to know...

• Comfortable knitting in the round using either magic loop or double pointed needles
• Basic beginner skills (knit, purl, cast on, bind off, basic increases and decreases

Materials Needed

• Yarn: 100g ball of yarn in the weight of your choice - from fingering to aran (no chunky or bulky)
• Lifeline Mitts Pattern available on Ravelry
• Needles: for knitting on small circumferences.  Choose a size on the small side of the suggested needle size on the yarn label for the main fabric. You also need needles 2 sizes smaller than your main fabric needle for the ribbing.
• Locking Stitch Markers
• Scissors
• Yarn Needle

Important:

Please pick up your yarn before class starts and have it wound into a ball (if necessary) prior to the class start time.
