COMO Cashmere is the new and even softer version of COMO, crafted with:

• 70% superfine merino wool (17.5 microns)
• 30% cashmere

This carded, three-ply twisted SUPERLIGHT DK yarn boasts a meterage of 120 m per 25 g (131 yd. per 0.88 oz.). Its extraordinary lightness is achieved through an innovative production method, which enhances the temperature-regulating and breathable properties of merino wool.

The blend of fine merino and cashmere results in a silky matte surface and a luxuriously soft feel, making it a particularly noble choice for your knitting projects.

Ethical Sourcing

The mulesing-free raw merino wool for COMO Cashmere is sourced from selected Australian shepherds, while the cashmere comes from Mongolia and China. The raw materials are certified for:

Spinning and dyeing are carried out by a family-run traditional company in Italy. Additionally, this yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Product Class I, which ensures it is safe for infants and toddlers up to three years of age.
